DC-1

The smart ROADWATCH® DC-1 infrared deployment control scans the road surface temperature, then automatically disperses de-icing and granular/pre-wet traction agents. The DC-1 is designed to be connected to existing electronic spreader controls. Three output channels control three spreader functions, for the granular spreader, for pre-wet and anti-icing.

   -  Channel #1 would be connected to the granular spreader function
   -  Channel #2 to the pre-wet function
   -  Channel #3 to anti-icing

Each channel has programmable upper and lower pavement temperature limits. The control compares measured road surface temperature information to pre-programmed temperature limits for each channel. Then, DC-1 automatically starts and stops deployment of materials. Road surface and air temperatures are clearly shown on LED display. Installation is easy.
